Writer's Block: The Right to Privacy
Should some parts of celebrities' lives be off-limits to the public, or is giving up privacy a fair price for being famous?
As human beings, we should respect other human beings. I don't think it matters whether someone is famous or not. We put too much pressure on them, and too much pressure on ourselves and our children to be more like them (famous people). It's unfair, and not a healthy goal.

I do think that a lot of parts of a celebrity's life should be off-limits. We should all have the right to be as public or as private as we like. And certainly, we need to be focusing on greater goals: Literacy, Housing the Homeless, Feeding the Hungry, Healing the Sick... you name it.

Stop living your life around celebrities. Stop putting them on pedestals  and considering them heroes. Live your life doing good works and be a hero yourself.

Now it comes easily
dripping from pores
sliding off fingertips
you just open your mind
and let it all shake free.
no rhyme
no reason
just this.

you get stuck
hung up on some
point you don't need
some stalagmite of information
tripping you up
skinning your knees.

just let it go.
slough off the past
it does you no good here.
it does you no good anywhere.

You begin to realize
the things you've been seeking
have been with you all along.
